WIX Racing Oil Filters WIX provides two very different and distinct racing filters – Advanced Performance Filters (T-10) and High Efficiency Endurance Filters (T-71) . Advanced Performance Oil Filters use a media (T-10) that is rated at a Frazier air flow of approximately 267 CFM and is wire-backed. The unique wire-backing provides a very stable base for a media blend of fiberglass, polyester and cellulose. This media is resistant to high temperatures and water levels in the oil that can plug standard media types. Our Advanced Performance media (T-10) is designed to provide a positive oil flow with low restriction (see chart, next page) . For optimum performance, use our Advanced Performance Oil Filters with our Advanced Performance Air Filters. Additional Oil Filter Features Include: A. Heavy-walled can and cover to withstand the extreme burst pressures (up to 500 psi). B. High temperature nitrile components (up to 300°F)…Anti-drainback valve (when included) and base plate gaskets to withstand extremely high racing temperatures. C. Zinc chromate plated base plate…Low surface friction and corrosion-free. D. Spiral wound center tube provides increased collapse pressure and enhanced flow pattern. E.
