WIX Racing Air Filters Advanced Performance Air Filters use a unique patent-pending design. Our wire-backed gauze Reemay ® media (T-66) allows maximum air flow while minimizing restriction to boost horsepower. With a Frazier air flow of approximately 410 CFM, these air filters have the lowest restriction of any racing filter available (see chart, next page) . For optimum performance, use our Advanced Performance Air Filters with our Advanced Performance Oil Filters. Additional Air Filter Features Include: A. High performance media is designed to provide increased air flow. B. Wire mesh gauze media support (when included) contributes to rigid filter construction by assuring consistently stable pleats at high air flow volumes. C. Outer screen of expanded metal protects the filter media and supports the filter assembly. D. Molded plastisol top and bottom assures a positive seal between the filter and the air intake housing. E. Inner screen of epoxy-coated steel wire withstands corrosion and insures stability of the filter element.
